  • 28 February - 30th March: Visions of China - Film, Literature and Music Festival. Discover the program
  • 15-16th March: Tapdance festival: gratis tapdansinitiaties met als afsluiter zondag in de Minard schouwburg "A Pies y Manos" een show met betoverende Canarische muziek en tapdance.
  • 15-16th March: 50th Nautilus exhibition for Minerals and Fossils in Gent ICC
  • 19th-23rd March: Japan Square Filmfestival in cinema Studioskoop. Enjoy the best Japanese films and gastronomy during the 15th edition of this film event. This is the program
  • 21st-23rd March: Cinema Culinair at the Eskimofabriek. Some movies you shouldn’t just see, you should taste them. At Cinema Culinair you watch movies like Chef, The Menu, Ratatouille and eat the same dishes as in the movie. Exactly to the second, so you eat what you see. Enjoy with all your senses.   • 22nd March - 13th April: Mid-Lent fun fair - fun for young and old.
  • 30th March: Sofico Gent Marathon - discover the most beautiful spots in Gent during the Sofico Gent Marathon.
  • until 21st April: Wunderkammer of TRUTH: Does absolute certainty exist? Discover it in this expo in the Musum of the University of Gent (GUM) which also has a wonderful Botanical Garden.
  • 29th May - 1st June: Braderie Publique: shop till you drop and enjoy the speical discounts during these 4 days. More info.
  • tot 1 juni: Plastic Fantastic: Discover the world of plastic production at the Miat Industriemuseum, a fascinating journey. Or enjoy one of the other permanent collections in the special museum.  
  • 14-15th June: Party in the Castle: The Castle of the Counts is transformed into a medieval time machine. Knights, noblewomen, stilt walkers and dancers reclaim the castle. Enjoy medieval music&dance, have a beer made according to medieval recipte and admire the sword fighters.
  • until 1st Mach 2026: Restauratie van het Lam Gods in het Museum van Schone Kunsten in Gent.

  • August 15–17:  Patershol festivities: neighbourhood street party in one of the oldest quarters in Gent
